cuteTube for Symbian is now available for free
Due to Nokia Store's continuing inability to process Symbian applications built against Qt 4.7.4 (see here), which was announced back in early November 2011, I have now decided to make the latest version of cuteTube available for free. Nokia have not provided an ETA for a resolution to this problem, and my guess is that it will remain at least until Belle becomes officially available for all Symbian 3 devices. I don't even want to think about how long that could be, and I'm not prepared to keep those that have purchased cuteTube waiting indefinitely.
Installation
Version 1.0.6 of cuteTube can be downloaded from here. If you have an earlier version installed on your device, you will probably need to remove it before installing.
If you experience a black screen when first launching cuteTube, then you will most likely need to install the following:
Qt 4.7.4 for Symbian Anna, available here.
Qt Mobility 1.2.1 for Symbian Anna, available here.
Qt Components 1.1 for Symbian, available here.
You should install these in the order listed.
I would like to thank all those that have purchased cuteTube from Nokia Store and offer my apologies to those that have not been able to re-download the application to its removal.

What does cuteTube look like on a Nokia E6?
Something that came to my attention a while ago was the issue of making the cuteTube UI scalable for various screen resolutions. In particular, an article over at All About Symbian made me aware of the forthcoming Nokia E6, with its VGA resolution of 640 x 480. Fortunately, not much work was required to ensure that cuteTube will work nicely on this device:

A new YouTube client is coming to Symbian
As some of you may be aware, I recently released a re-write of cuteTube for the Maemo 5 platform, using C++ and QML (it has also been entered into the Meego Coding Competition 2011). I am now pleased to announce that cuteTube is almost ready for release on the Symbian^3 platform. There are still some minor issues to resolve before the release, but here are some photos of cuteTube running on my N8:

cuteTube now in extras-testing
cuteTube 0.9.2-5 (a YouTube client for the Nokia N900) is now in the Maemo 5 extras-testing repository. There have been a few UI tweaks (see screenshots below), and the UI will continue to improve, but my main focus will now be on improving the video playback experience.
Please test and vote for cuteTube here.

cuteTube - a feature-rich YouTube client for the Nokia N900
cuteTube is my first N900 application, written in Python and Qt. It should be available from extras-devel fairly soon. It is a feature-rich YouTube client and enables the user to:

- Create an 'on the go' playback queue, which can also be saved as a YouTube playlist.
